Text Box: Our Flight Nurses have an average of  15 years experience in Critical Care and Emergency Medicine. 
Pennsylvania RN Licensure is required, with a minimum of 3 years experience in an acute care setting, such as Emergency/Trauma, or Intensive Care.
All nurses are also EMT-Paramedics,  and/or PHRN’s, with active Medical Command status.

Geoff Shank, RN, CCRN, CFRN, EMT-P

Geoff began his nursing career in the Intensive Care Unit at Conemaugh. He is active with his local EMS, and serves as our Quality Assurance Monitor.

Geoff was the first nurse on our team to earn CFRN, or Certified Flight Registered Nurse credentials.

In addition to being ‘Senior Man” on the Team, George also serves as our Base Site Coordinator.  With over 25 years experience in Emergency Nursing, George began his career at Conemaugh as one of our original DART Paramedics.

Jill Dillman-Stull, RN

Jill brings prior flight experience to Medstar. She previously flew with  STAT and AGH Lifeflight, Pittsburgh, PA. Jill is also our Outreach Coordinator. Jill has over 25 years experience in Emergency Nursing.

JP Wainwright, RN, CEN, PHRN, EMT-P

JP also started his career at Conemaugh as a DART Medic in 1989, before becoming a Flight Medic in 1994. He became a Flight Nurse in 2004. JP remains active as a Paramedic with his local Fire Department and Ambulance Service.

Tim George, RN, CEN, CCRN, CFRN, EMT-P, HP

Tim has been with Medstar for 2 years. He previously worked in the Department of Emergency Medicine, and the Intensive Care Unit at Conemaugh, with over 15 years experience in Critical Care and Emergency Nursing. Tim has also been a Paramedic for 23 years.
