At Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center's Department of Emergency Medicine, paramedics are standing-by 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ready to respond to whatever type of situation that may arise.  Whether a medical emergency or a traumatic injury, a Chevy Tahoe, equipped with state of the art Advanced Life Support equipment is ready to respond and assist area ambulance services with either an upgrade in care to ALS or just to be there for an extra set of hands.  The DART (Disaster Assistance Response Team) paramedics are Nationally Registered Paramedics, most of which also work on the Flight Team configuration.  DART also responds with Supply 38-3, a fully stocked trailer, to assist with Haz-mat, mass casualty incidents, triage, and any other situation that may warrant it.
